The number of mobile phone users in the world is expected to pass the five billion mark by 2019. In 2014, nearly 60 percent of the population worldwide already owned a mobile phone. The mobile phone penetration is forecasted to continue to grow, rounding up to 67 percent by 2019. The number of mobile connections is also expected to increase over the next few years, projected to reach almost of eight billion worldwide in 2015. China had just over 1.2 billion mobile connections in 2014, while India reached almost one billion. By 2019, China is predicted to reach 1.4 billion mobile connections and India almost 1.1 billion.

We are looking for a Senior Game Programmer to join our team to work on multiple projects, amongst them the hugely successful Gems Of Atlantis, that is in live phase with a very passionate player base. We are developing new IPs with full force and this is your chance to take part in shaping the future of our studio!

Key tasks and responsibilities:
  • Design and implement game features and systems
  • Develop and help maintain high quality code base
  • Motivate and inspire other members of the programming team
  • Support in planning, and prioritizing project features
  • Work actively to help the team achieve project targets
  • Help ensure guidelines and agreed conventions are followed
  • Drive communication and sharing with other departments
  • Improve processes, tools and team work

You'll fit in our team if you have:
  • Minimum 5 years of programming experience
  • Minimum 2 years in a senior role
  • Proven game development background on commercial projects
  • Strong programming skills in C# or C++
  • Proficient in debugging, profiling and performance optimization
  • Broad knowledge of game architecture and technologies (gameplay, rendering, physics, AI, networking)

We’d love you to have these skills:
  • Good understanding of mobile platforms and hardware
  • Experience from native development on mobile or embedded systems
  • Previous experience from working with Unity
  • Strong communication skills
  • Knowledge about mobile backends
  • Experience with F2P games
You need proven portfolio on your skills both in 2D and 3D, and you are also used to implementing your art in a game engine such as Unity or similar. As a Senior Artist you will both be an active project team member and responsible for delivering all your art in time and in good quality. There is room to quickly grow and take on more responsibilities in the near future, such as art lead and managing an art team. You will be working closely to Executive Producer / Producer, other game artists as well as programmers and designers.

You will be part of a senior team of top developers and graphics designers, working on some of the most exciting intellectual properties on the planet, and help break new ground in mobile free-to-play games. Our division is focused on casual social games with an emphasis on creating both new and pre-existing IPs in the puzzle and build/sim genres.

Responsibilities:
  • Working closely with your entire team to create and execute strong F2P games, focusing on excellent user experience, strong social engagement, and F2P monetization
  • Quickly concepting and prototyping new concepts and features from high-level ideas to detailed game mechanics
  • Alongside your game economy manager and product lead, you will be responsible for updating, balancing, and optimizing live games based on key metrics and performance indicators
  • Providing the development team with overall designs and visions, followed by detailed design documentation and communication of the features for agile implementation.
  • Continuously benchmarking your competition in order to identify best practices and design mechanisms, then use these findings to iterate constructively on your own game designs as well as sharing the learnings with whole design team
  • Participating in peer reviews to give design feedback on our other games, either internally developed or created with external partners
  • As a Project Manager you will be supervising all the project members, and as part of Studio Management group also participate in defining the Studio portfolio strategy and roadmap.
We’d love it if you have these skills:
  • Minimum 5 years of commercial experience in game design, with a proven track record of mobile F2P design from early prototyping through live title operation
  • Experience in the F2P puzzle and/or build/sim games, passion and skills to develop and take those categories to new level
  • Strong understanding of F2P business models and the game industry trends around them, a passion for developing innovative F2P
  • Excellent understanding of game design techniques and theory, as well as clear views on social mobile gaming opportunities
  • Metrics and data-driven decision-making experience
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills in English – you know how to pitch your game and love telling people about it!
